Venkatachari Rajagopalan

A pioneer in the Indian telecom industry, Mr. Rajagopalan retired as the Executive Director of ITI (Indian Telephone Industries), the largest telecom equipment manufacturer in India in 1997. During his tenure at ITI, turnover increased several folds and the organization made successful forays into several new technological areas. Subsequently, as the Managing Director of the global division of ITI, he played a key role in giving ITI a multinational dimension and had a successful stint in the Far East for 6 years in promoting the products of the company.

Before entering the Telecom industry, Mr. Rajagopalan served for 17 years in top management positions in the Indian Defence products manufacturing sector and worked closely during the 1980s with well-known personalities in the telecom field such as Mr. K.P.P. Nambiar and Mr. Sam Pitroda in bringing about a revolution in the Indian telecom sector. His contribution in commercializing the C-DOT products and bringing them out successfully to the market has been path breaking. In doing so, he was adjudged the ‘Best Production Engineer’ in India for the year 1992.

Since then Mr. Rajagopalan has guided Ordyn Technologies in achieving its goals. Under his mentorship, Ordyn has been able to get its initial recognition in the otherwise tough and closely-knit sector.

His vision is to advance Ordyn's intent to become a global market leader in all endeavors taken up by the company.
